"Historical witnesses" of Hanoi thousand years of civilization

Long Bien Bridge
Long Bien Bridge, the first iron bridge crossing the Red River, was built bay French. As a “bridge passing over three centuries,” the Long Bien Bridge has witnessed the Vietnamese struggle against French Colonial Empire and US Imperialism, changing and developing of the capital in peacetime. The interference between classical – modern architecture, Vietnam – Western cultures has created a unique attraction for the bridge.

Ha Noi Opera House
The building modeled on Opéra Gamier Theater in Paris, was built for the performing arts in 1911. After the departure of the French, theater was used for Vietnamese plays and musicals. This is a destination not to be missed when you want to explore about the culture of Ha Noi in particular and Viet Nam in general.

Hoa Lo Prison
This is an evidence of the indomitable struggle of the revolutionary soldiers of Vietnam, as well as the judgment of savage regime of the French Colonial Empire. Because of historical significance, Hoa Lo Prison attracts thousands of visitors each year. More than 70% of tourists are foreign, especially many visitors are US soldiers who have participated in the war in Vietnam.
